It’s halloween and of course I have to make a halloween picture, the kids love all the scary stuff as long as it’s not to scary. I thought it would be fun to remake our house in a scary (but not to scary) way and this is the result *ghost smiley
I used several layers and textures, a lot of adjustments and bits and pieces from eight different pictures. It doesn’t look like much, but it was a lot of (fun) work.
This old hospital has a fascinating story, you can search google or click this link. I went there even though I have seen at least 8,000,000 pictures of the place, because it is riveting.
Shortly after my arrival I met a german, who said a lot of things I did not understand, but I am pretty sure he said I was not allowed to be there. So of course I waited until he was gone before I went in. It is an exiting and sometimes scary place, the imagination is working overtime.
When I had gone through the first building, the german man came back in great haste, yelling at me. I still did not understand german, but I did understand that I was being banished from the grounds.
Luckily I got what I came for, although I would enjoy an extra couple of days of exploring 🙂
Winter has come and everything is shrouded in a fine layer of ice. In the morning it is so cold you can see your breath, and your cheeks instantly get a rosy glow. The lantern at my front door has produced the finest lacey ice crystals.
In the backyard there were ice on everything too.
All the bushes and all the dead flowers look so pretty when they shroud themselves in a layer of frost.
